Death by Hot Chocolate

After a great Friday night, I decided to stay in Saturday night and watch my new secret obsession, The OC. Go ahead make fun of me all you want, but it really is good. To go along with a quiet night at home I could only think of one thing hot chocolate.

Off to the kitchen I went to create a concoction of hot chocolate.

Hot Chocolate

1 C milk
2 squares of bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2 T chocolate syrup
2 T cocoa
1 1/2 t Splenda

Combine milk, cocoa, chocolate syrup, and Splenda and heat on medium heat. When the milk mixture is steaming, add the chopped chocolate, and stir, until melted. Pour into cups. If you have whipped cream on hand, top of the drink.
