Meat and Potatoes

The weather was perfect (to me) for grilling steaks; and I would get to test out my new steak plates. Thankfully I already had everything I needed for a yummy meal.

I'm still a little new at grilling by myself. As I said in a previous post, I'm used to someone else doing the grilling. This time I got the grill ready 30-45 minutes before I wanted to put the steaks on. While the coals were getting hot, I prepared the mashed potatoes. All that was left was to toss the steaks and bread on the grill. Shortly, I had a great meal.

I still need more practice on the grill. The steak was a little pinker than I normally like mine, but still delicious.
